Alicia Antone is happy to announce that the African American Research Library has been awarded a prestigious grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences. Funds will support a robust program that will include mini workshops presented by visiting scholars, research fellowships and additional exhibits and programming.
Chris Madsen was one of 55 people chosen from 200 applicants to participate in a Leadership Florida program. The program was created to build a strong and diverse statewide network by identifying and training community leaders to learn about Florida’s challenges and opportunities.
