Our speaker on Tuesday, January 8 will be Debi Davis, health and fitness expert.
Debi Davis founded Fit America, one of the fastest growing companies in the weight-loss and wellness industry in 1992.
For three consecutive years, Working Woman magazine recognized Fit America as one of America’s top 500 women-owned businesses. Debi was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1999 for health and has been featured on national TV and in media publications, including Success magazine, FSB (Fortune Small Business) and Newsweek.
Debi has written three books that address weight-loss challenges: Back Off! I’ll Lose Weight When I’m Ready for teens, Weight Loss Through Visualization and Better Than Atkins…The Country Club Diet for adults, and is also a regular contributor for several magazines and newspapers. |

Anne McMichael was recognized for her service as past Chairperson and retiring Board Member of the Broward Education Foundation at a Foundation Board of
Directors luncheon with Broward County School Board members on
December 11. After having served 20 years, she retired from the
Foundation Board of Directors in October and was made Director
Emeritus.
