Member Suzanne Higgins reports that Covenant House Florida will host its 18th International Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Kids at 6:30 p.m. at Bayview Park, 1440 Bayview Drive, adjacent to Cardinal Gibbons High School. The vigils are held during National Hunger and Homeless Week, the week before Thanksgiving. They deliver the powerful message that runaway and homeless youth need widespread support in their communities so that they can find safe shelter and help leading to family reunification or another stable environment.
