November 2008 2nd Edition - Issue: #37
Welcome:
Many thanks to our speaker last month, Harriet Johnson Brackey, columnist for South Florida Sun-Sentinel.  She shared wisdom on surviving the current economic crisis.

Thanks to all of you who brought guests to our September and October meetings. I hope they enjoyed themselves and will want to join this great organization. I’d like to encourage you all to invite an executive colleague whom you believe would benefit from being a part of our group to the November meeting.

Once you’ve extended the invitation, here’s what you need to know:

When you sign onto the BWA website this week, note that you RSVP by clicking the "Registration" button in the left column.  You will RSVP for yourself and your guest(s). Remember that a charge of $5 will be assessed if you attend without a reservation.

If you invite a guest, please pay at the door ($25 per guest).  If you RSVP for a guest who does not attend, a $25 charge will be assessed to you.  Please do not send a guest in your place.  If you cannot attend, please cancel your guest as well as yourself.

See you at the Nov. 10 meeting.

Dorothy

Our speaker for November is MYLENE D’ARELLI – founder and owner of “Green Dwellers” – Healthy Home Goods with Style. She will be speaking about “Green is the New Black”. Mylene founded the very successful GREEN DWELLERS to educate the consumers and be the one source for all Green Home Goods. With a background in interior decorating and fashion merchandising, Mylene saw an opportunity to help people incorporate “green living” principles to the inside of their homes where people spend a significant amount of time exposed to toxins, allergens, and the like. She believes that you can be stylish and interesting while also being green. www.greendwellers.com
