• Please join in supporting "Books 'n' Bears at the Holidays", in partnership with the Broward County Library.  Donate gently loved, plush teddy bears this month to be used in Broward County Library's "Books 'n' Bears at the Holidays" program. Before Nov. 30, 2009 please bring the teddy bears to a BWA meeting or drop them off in the Children's department at any Broward County Library.
• 3rd Annual Bonnet House Orchid Fair on December 5 and 6, 2009 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.  Orchid & Exotic Plant vendors, orchid supplies and displays, auction, lectures and demonstrations, food and wine, and walking tours.
